millions gave their support globally...
even nelly furtado and cate blanchett support...

in australia alone, 58% of australian adults participated..
and with over 10.214 google news item...
and 24.958 earth hour blogs...
it stopped being a sydney event...
and became a global movement...


it is estimated that globally 50 million people took part in earth hour 2008...
help us make earth hour 2009 even bigger...
